Verge Mower AGH-S

The flail mower AGH model is a type of rotary mower in which the cutting elements are flails shredding the mowed plants. This mowing system was used in a flail cutter for green fodder (often colloquially called rotor). The system, in which the beaters are sharpened masses rotating on the cutting shaft, works well for mowing wasteland and roadsides. The machine's revolutions are often higher than 3000 rpm. The drive systems can be mechanical via a PTO shaft or hydraulic via a hydraulic motor.

A verge mower is a specialized lawn mower that focuses on cutting the grass and vegetation along the edges of lawns, roadways, or other landscape features. It is designed to reach and maintain areas that are challenging to access with traditional mowers. By targeting the verge, which is the border between the paved surface and the adjacent vegetation, verge mowers ensure a neat and polished appearance.

Enhanced Safety: By using a verge mower, you can avoid the need for manual trimming with hand tools, reducing the risk of injuries.

Improved Aesthetics: Verge mowers provide a professional-looking finish by neatly trimming the edges, enhancing the overall appearance of your lawn or landscape.

Versatility: With various types and attachments available, verge mowers can handle a wide range of terrains and vegetation types.

How to Choose the Right Verge Mower

When selecting a verge mower, it's essential to consider certain factors to ensure you make the right choice.

Terrain Type: Assess the terrain where you will be using the verge mower. Is it flat or sloped? Are there any obstacles or uneven areas?

Area Size: Determine the size of the area you need to maintain. This will help you choose a mower with an appropriate cutting width and capacity.

Features to Look for

Cutting Mechanism: Decide which type of verge mower suits your needs best. Consider whether you require a rotary mower, flail mower, or side arm mower.

Adjustable Height: Look for a verge mower that offers adjustable cutting height options. This allows you to adapt to different grass lengths and preferences.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your verge mower, it's important to follow these usage and maintenance guidelines:

Safety Precautions

Read the Manual: Familiarize yourself with the verge mower's manual and follow all safety instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Protective Gear: Wear appropriate safety gear, such as goggles, ear protection, and sturdy footwear, to protect yourself during operation.

Maintenance Tips

Regular Cleaning: Remove debris and grass clippings from the mower after each use to prevent clogging and maintain optimal performance.
